Speech Pathologist
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Grade 2 Speech Pathologist to join our supportive and growing Speech Pathology Department. This casual position will provide speech pathology services on the acute wards at Western Health on weekdays and/or weekends. Experience in adult acute care is desirable.
To be Successful in this Role, you will:
- Have highly developed clinical skills to assess and manage dysphagia and communication impairment within the acute setting
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Have highly developed interpersonal, written and electronic communication skills
- Have excellent organisation and time management skills
- Ensure safe and high quality patient care is delivered in line with Western Health values and policies
